MARCH 2007 - TRAILBLAZERS IN BUSINESS (Individual) - Greg Forbes Siegman (11-10-02's founder) was honored by Entrepreneurship Week USA 2007 as one of today's 'Trailblazers'.  EntrepreneurshipWeek USA 2007 -- presented by Kauffman Foundation; Inc. ; and The New York Times -- described the couple dozen people on the list as a "sample of people who have taken on their BIG idea and made it into a reality".

APRIL 2005 - PRINCETON UNIVERSITY (Individual) - Greg was honored at Princeton University as one of the nation's top social entrepreneurs under 40

APRIL 2003 - JEFFERSON AWARD FOR PUBLIC SERVICE - 11-10-02 Foundation Intern Kris is honored by NBC affiliate with the Local Jefferson Award. The award, established by the American Institute for Public Service, recognizes 'unsung heroes making a difference.'.  Kris received the honor for his efforts to lead a group of teens in raising the funds to fund an 11-10-02 Foundation Scholarship. It is the 2nd time in 3 years that an 11-10-02 Foundation Volunteer received this honor. 

MAY 2002 - AMERICA'S DAILY POINT OF LIGHT (Organization)

The 11-10-02 Foundation is honored as America's Daily Point of Light - one of nation's highest honors for public service, bestowed on one individual or organization in the USA each day.

Greg is named America's Daily Point of Light - one of nation's highest honors for public service, bestowed on one individual or organization in the USA each day.

 

NOVEMBER 2001 CBS TYLENOL HOMETOWN HERO

11-10-02 Foundation teen volunteer named Heather is honored by CBS for 'making a genuine impact' in the community around her' as a result of her efforts through The 11-10-02 Foundation. It is the 2nd time in two years that an 11-10-02 Foundation Volunteer received this honor.

 

JULY 2001 ZETA BETA TAU NATIONAL MAN OF DISTINCTON

Zeta Beta Tau 2001 Man of Distinction. Zeta Beta Tau honors one man each year from among its 110,000 living alumni in recognition of that man's distinguished service to the community.   At 28 years old, Greg is the youngest man to ever receive the award.

 

JUNE 2001 PRESIDENTIAL STUDENT SERVICE GOLD AWARD

The American Institute for Public Service honors young people doing extraordinary levels of community service.  Duane-- a BrunchBunch.com Kid, an 11-10-02 Scholar and 11-10-02's first ever college intern-- received this award for his extensive involvement with The 11-10-02 Foundation.

 

DECEMBER 2000 PEPSI-COLA GENERAL BOTTLERS COMMUNITY LEADER

Pepsi Cola General Bottlers of Chicago, in conjunction with NBC 5, select a dozen Chicagoans who are leading the Community and making a difference.  Greg was one of the 12 Chicagoans selected for this award toward the end of 2000. 

 

TEACHER.COM EXCELLENCE ON THE INTERNET AWARD

This well known internet site selects 25 websites that they recommend to teachers around the nation to use as informative, fun educational resources.  They selected BrunchBunch.com as one of the 25 sites.

 

TEACHER INFORMATION NETWORK GOLD AWARD

An award given to websites that set a standard of excellence in the field of education and teaching.  The webste: www.BrunchBunch.com received this award in the year 2000.

 

OCTOBER 2000 EDUCATION CENTER DIRECTOR'S AWARD

=Each year, The Education Center honors four people making a difference.  The individuals for 2000 were Illinois State Senator Chris Lauzen, Attorney General Jim Ryan, Tidy International CEO Robert Ramirez and Greg Forbes Siegman.   Greg received the Director's Award, given annually to a person "who is making a real difference in kids' lives."

Greg is honored by CBS for 'making a genuine impact' in the community around him' as a result of his efforts through The 11-10-02 Foundation and its The Brunch Bunch program.

 

JUNE 2000 NATIONAL JEFFERSON AWARDS

Each year, The American Institute for Public Service's Board of Selectors selects 41 Americans -- 37 adults and 4 children-- from among the Local Jefferson Award winners around the country.  Greg was the sole Chicagoan selected and the youngest adult in the nation to be chosen in 2000.  He was flown to Washington DC for a special 3 day ceremony.

 

JUNE 2000 OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEERISM AWARD

Award given by local public school to individuals and corporations that donate extensive time and resources to help their students.

 

MAY 2000 JEFFERSON AWARD FOR PUBLIC SERVICE

Each year, NBC 5 Chicago selects 7 "unsung heroes"-- ordinary Chicagoans making an extraordinary difference in Chicago-- for this special honor.  Greg was selected in the year 2000.  He and the other 6 recipients were honored on a half hour NBC special called "Change the World." 

 

APRIL 2000 IMMC MERIT OF APPRECIATION

This well-known organization gives out annual certificates of recognition to individuals and organizations who volunteer certain numbers of hours at one of their facilities.  11-10-02 received this certificate for volunteering 200 hours in one year at a local nursing home

 

DECEMBER 1999 GOOD MORNING AMERICA MILLENIUM TIME CAPSULE

This national television show created a time capsule and dropped it beneath the Earth at the turn of the century, to be opened in 100 years.  In the capsule, they put stories of how America is and should be at the turn of the century.  The story of Greg's Brunch Bunch streak -- 100 straight weeks and counting at that point -- was the 1st item GMA ever selected for the Time Capsule.

 

NOVEMBER 1999 HASBRO "GI JOE" REAL LIFE AMERICAN HERO

In honor of the 35th Anniversary of their legendary GI JOE doll, this internationally-known toy company selected 35 "Real Life American Heroes who embody the honor, courage, service, respect and good clean fun image of GI JOE."  Mr. Siegman was one of three Americans under 30 selected for this honor.

OCTOBER 1999 LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE ON CIVIL RIGHTS PROMISING PROGRAM  This highly respected civil rights organization recognizes a select number of programs each year that show promise in the fight against racism and discrimination.  11-10-02's BrunchBunch.com program was one of two Illinois programs selected in 1999 for this special distinction.
