part 3 of 5: building  A  COMMUNITY  OF  VOLUNTEERS

Members of The Brunch Bunch also volunteered their time together on other occasions.  For example, some of the students and adults volunteered their time to help build a garden in the otherwise empty atrium at a local school.  After the first 70 weeks of brunch, Greg expanded his efforts and established The 11-10-02 Foundation.  To this day,  more than 25 years later, it remains a 100% volunteer-run organization. Over the years, many people have volunteered their time, in ways big & small, behind the scenes to support The 11-10-02 Foundation -- serving on a Board or Committee, planning an event, or assisting with a specific task.  In total, between The Brunch Bunch Mentoring Program and these other efforts, The 11-10-02 Foundation has generated tens of thousands of hours of volunteer service.  Scroll down for a few examples of those volunteers and those efforts to serve.
