ONE SMALL ORGANIZATION'S RESPONSE TO A GLOBAL CRISIS

Picture
The pandemic has had a massive impact on people around the globe.

As a small, entirely volunteer run nonprofit organization (that is
not involved in health care), we tried to think about what we can do to help in some way – while remaining true to our mission to assist students who are pursuing their educational dreams.

Ultimately, we decided to focus on one of the ripple effects caused by the crisis....

With schools closed, we knew students had a better chance to learn from home if they had school supplies & access to computers.

So, we began giving grants to nonprofits around the nation. With our grants, these groups have been able to provide laptops & school supplies to students in their communities. We hope this will help the selected students – four of whom are featured here in this online edition of the newsletter. To see more of the recipients, visit our Grants Gallery.

And we hope all of you and your families will remain as safe as possible during this challenging time.

More importantly, please consider helping  organizations – such as food banks, hospitals, first responders & organizations caring for seniors –
on the front lines of this global crisis.
