11-10-02 GRANT GIVING SPREADS TO MORE STATES
In the beginning, The 11-10-02 Foundation gave out grants that helped local schools & nonprofits purchase educational supplies for the youth they serve. Over time, those efforts – along with the college scholarships we fund – spread to other states. During the past few months, those efforts continued to spread to even more parts of the country. 11-10-02 recently gave a grant to a youth-serving nonprofit organization in North Dakota, another one in Oregon, a third in Alaska, and two more in Connecticut. Our grants will help these organizations provide more educational supplies & resources to the students they assist.
HAVE YOU SEEN OUR 'MILKSHAKE MAP'?
Milkshakes have always had a meaningful connection to The 11-10-02 Foundation. So, it was only natural to incorporate Milkshakes into a new feature on our website. If you go to the Around America section on this website, you will see the new Milkshake Map – which charts where we have funded grants & scholarships around the United States. As of now, The 11-10-02 Foundation has funded grants & scholarships in nearly 40 states as well as Washington D.C. We are getting closer to reaching a goal of funding at least one grant or scholarship in every state!
Years ago, The 11-10-02 Foundation selected a kind & hard working woman named Yamileth for one of our scholarships. Now, years later, her daughter, Nayleth, is on her way to college. And she’s our newest Scholar. In the process, she also has the distinction of being part of our first “Parent-Child” Scholar Duo! We appreciate everyone whose support makes moments like this possible.

'REPEAT' SCHOLARS
On rare occasions, The 11-10-02 Foundation Board has elected to give an additional scholarship to a student who received a previous scholarship. We recently decided to do that for our Scholars, Anjelica (on the East Coast) & Karina (in the Midwest). They both continue to work hard and succeed in class, both continue to pursue meaningful opportunities on campus outside of class, and both continue to be kind and respectful. We are glad we can support their dreams to get a college degree!
