Nominators Say
Over the years, The 11-10-02 Foundation's Founder, Board & Volunteers have received many kind & grateful notes from the people we select to serve as Scholarship Nominators. Inevitably, not every Nominee can be chosen (and for that matter, not every Potential Nominator will be chosen as a Nominator) - so we particularly appreciate when a Nominator or Potential Nominator accepts the decision with grace and kindness - knowing we are all volunteers and we have spent a great deal of time on the process regardless of the result. We use this page to share a brief sample of the notes from Nominators & Potential Nominators. We have enjoyed getting to know so many Nominators & Potential Nominators over the years & seeing the passion they have for their work and for the students they champion. This is a chance for you to hear from a few of them in their own words. SCROLL DOWN FOR SAMPLE

I will continue to mentor her because I truly believe in her. Thank you for giving her the opportunity and, to [the Foundation volunteer assigned to this nominee] for dedicating time to help her. I know she really appreciated it and has truly learned from it. [The Foundation's volunteer point of contact] is a great mentor and has taught me as well in the process. I wish the outcome would have been different but truly understand. If there is any way I can help in the future, please don't hesitate to let me know. Good luck with your future candidates." - EA
