NEW SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS
WHO DEMONSTRATE PASSION FOR DOGS:

This year, The 11-10-02 Foundation selected a Scholarship Nominator who works at an animal shelter and let her nominate students with financial need who meet our Foundation's Criteria & Priorities and who work &/or interned at the shelter. In turn, their nominations were considered by our Board. As a result of that process, we now have two new scholars (Kristiana & Morgan). We are happy to support students who love animals & who are making a difference in their communities.

11-10-02 FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
SPREAD TO MORE STATES

The 11-10-02 Foundation funded several out-of-state scholarships in the last few months. The scholarships ranged from $500 to $2,500 apiece. The recipients included students in states where our organization was funding scholarships for the first time. The list includes students in New Mexico, Kansas & South Carolina. Congrats to Rubi & the others! 11-10-02 has now funded grants and scholarships in more than 30 states as well as Washington D.C.

CONTINUES TO HELP OUT BACK HOME

11-10-02 also continued to fund college scholarships in our home state of Illinois. In one instance, we identified a hard-working & devoted volunteer who works with students in & around her neighborhood  in Chicago. We let her recommend a student she felt embodied our Priorities & Criteria. Our Board was very impressed by the nominee (Nim Yan) & proud to select her as a new Scholar. To celebrate the occasion, the two of them met for dim sum with 11-10-02 Foundation Founder Greg Forbes Siegman.

GRATEFUL SCHOLARS

We continue to hear from many of our Scholars, new & old. It's always  nice when they remember those who helped them along the way. To read a sample of notes received from our Scholars over the years, click here.
